I recently bought my first electric guitar, but i'm struggling to get it to work?
I’ve never played the guitar before, but really enjoy watching and listening to really good rock music, so I decided to buy one.
I bought the guitar online from eBay and it arrived yesterday. The guitar looks just like the one in the picture, and its definitely electric.
The guitar seems a bit smaller than the ones i’ve seen on TV, but still looks the same shape as the ones i’ve seen before.
Am I right in thinking that electric guitars, because they’re electric, don’t have any strings? Mine has buttons instead, but I can’t seem to get any noise out of it.
please help!
with more reference to the buttons, they’re small and at the top of the long thin bit. they have different colours on them too. there’s also a flappy paddle bit that i’ guessing you should fiddle with to make the music, but try as i may, still no sound

How many inches is an acoustic guitar strap supposed to have?
I ordered one from ebay and the max. length that I can adjust to is 57 inches. It’s too small! I only have one lock button which is at the bottom of the guitar and I was going to tie the other end of that guitar strap near the tuning pegs. When I tried putting it on, it was too small. I’m searching on ebay for more straps but I can’t find any that’s over 57 inches long.

My parents agreed that they would either give me cash or a guitar strap if I got first chair in the All-State band. (I don’t think they were very optimistic.) But I did (woohooo!) and I chose the guitar strap. The one I have now is terrible quality and practically brings the guitar up to my chest. I want one that looks cool and is long. If you could, would you give me a website with a picture on it?
Also, it has to be able to fit on a Fender Squire II precision bass. (it’s pretty big)
No offense Natalia, but eBay really isn’t the best place to shop for quality items.

What can i do with my acoustic bass guitar?
I bought it over ebay for 0. I know very little about guitars but wanted to get my hands on one so that one day i might know how to play decently. Well, it came and the strings were too close to the neck. The guitar doctors couldn’t fix it; they said the neck is slightly twisted. Now I feel like i’ve wasted 0.
Any ideas whatsoever as to what to do with it? or how I can solve the problem.
