At a performance, we used a semi acoustic guitar as well as an acoustic bass, with two singers using two mics. The guitar amps were then connnected to a PA system, which also took in the two mics. The humming and feedback was so bad that we could not hear anything else at all.

I want to learn how to play the guitar and i can not decide whether or not i want to play the acoustic bass or Acoustic guitar. I’ve had this interest for a couple of months now and asked questions about playing a bass guitar.My friend says you gotta have kinda large hands to play it and since i’m a girl with small hands , kinda bursted my bubble :/ .I’m not getting the electric version of the guitar yet until i feel that i can upgrade , plus i’m only 14 (15 in July) and saving my allowance to buy the guitar myself.

What are the positives and negatives about the acoustic bass and acoustic guitar ? what would you suggest would be easier/ better for me to learn and play? What brands produce good guitars?

I have had my Carlo Robelli Acoustic bass for over a year now and im starting to notice right by the hole that the wood is kind of bending in slightly. Im assuming its because of tension from the strings (they are pretty tight.) Im afraid that this will permanently wreck the guitar. I know its a cheaper brand of guitar but it sounds fine.
