Should I get an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, or a bass guitar?
I have no background experience in any, and I want to teach myself how to play. Only looking to spend 0, and I want to play a lot of popular music like old 80′s guitar riffs and theme songs to my favorite tv shows.. Can you help me? Thanks!

I recently bought my first electric guitar, but i'm struggling to get it to work?
I’ve never played the guitar before, but really enjoy watching and listening to really good rock music, so I decided to buy one.
I bought the guitar online from eBay and it arrived yesterday. The guitar looks just like the one in the picture, and its definitely electric.
The guitar seems a bit smaller than the ones i’ve seen on TV, but still looks the same shape as the ones i’ve seen before.
Am I right in thinking that electric guitars, because they’re electric, don’t have any strings? Mine has buttons instead, but I can’t seem to get any noise out of it.
please help!
with more reference to the buttons, they’re small and at the top of the long thin bit. they have different colours on them too. there’s also a flappy paddle bit that i’ guessing you should fiddle with to make the music, but try as i may, still no sound

Im looking to oder a good quality western style acoustic leather guitar strap. I want to personalize it with a name or initials and preferably want a buckle and conchos added. Anyone know of a good custom leather website that specializes in guitar straps that are natural leather?
ive been to all these sites. the only one i saw that had the buckles and conchos were mosbyguitars.com and the only other natural leather user was the americancustomleather.com. any others?
